The culmination of her three-year contract with them resulted in the company putting on a private exhibition for Candida to some of their clients. Again Candida’s work proved hugely popular. “I had an amazing three year spell with Chanel and if things couldn’t get any better, they decided to give me an exhibition which they paid for.”

This has helped Candida to fulfill private commissions for her clients, which she greatly enjoys. “I love to work with other people and enjoy trying to fulfill their own dreams by creating something from scratch which will greatly satisfy them when it is finished.”

Now happily married, Candida has based herself near to Aberdeen and has just finished the completion of her new studio. “Both my husband and I decided that we had had enough of London and all the disturbances that a big city can give. Being up here in Scotland gives me a huge sense of space and peace which is the best environment to sculpt in”
